the cables on Bandit come from a Japanese pattern book in my collection of knitting pattern books.

I leafed through it one day, and as soon as I came to the page with the sample and chart for this cable I knew exactly how I wanted the design to look.

I thinks the cables look super cool, and I love that they are super simple to knit. It is always a winning combination when a pattern looks impressive and complicated, but is simple to knit.

My son Aksel has chosen the beautyful color and we had a good talk about what he thinks it takes for a knitted sweater to be wearable for big, cool kids.
